What we found

  1. Google Cloud Storage leads, on 43% of the sites using a storage tool, 2.7 times as many sites as Cloudflare R2.
  2. Only 9 of the 97 storage tools we track run on more than 1% of these sites.
  3. Among sites launched in September, Baidu Object Storage rose to #10 from #13 in August.
  4. Several leaders are regional: Tencent Cloud Object Storage (China) and Baidu Object Storage (China).
