Zedmail
Zedmail is a privacy-first alternative to SendGrid, Amazon SES, Postmark and Mailgun: a transactional email API hosted in Canada, GDPR-adequate for EU data, and outside US Cloud Act jurisdiction. CASL- and GDPR-compliant. $0.15 CAD per 1,000 emails. REST API + SMTP relay.
StackScope is a free public catalogue of indie launches. We find launches on Product Hunt, Hacker News and similar feeds, then crawl each site to detect its tech stack and score it for launch readiness: DNS, security headers, SEO basics. This page is what we saw on 18 June 2026; the live site may have changed since.
Zedmail scores well across the board, with complete legal pages, well-configured email security, and clean crawl signals. Main gaps: no Permissions-Policy.
Launched on Hacker News on June 18, 2026. The site is hosted on OVH SAS in Canada. Our crawler found 7 technologies on this site, covering servers, analytics, os, and payments. The stack includes Apache, Google Search Console, and HSTS.
Notably, it's more locked down than the typical Hacker News launch.
