A Simple Containerized Browser
Why I built a single Docker image that gives you an actual tab bar and a live, interactive screen for a headless Chromium instance — no browserless, no VNC.
StackScope is a free public catalogue of indie launches. We find launches on Product Hunt, Hacker News and similar feeds, then crawl each site to detect its tech stack and score it for launch readiness: DNS, security headers, SEO basics. This page is what we saw on 4 July 2026; the live site may have changed since.
A Simple Containerized Browser is partway there, with a thorough launch checklist and clean crawl signals. Main gaps: missing several security headers, incomplete legal pages, and tracking cookies set before any opt-in.
Launched on Hacker News on July 4, 2026. The site is hosted on IONOS SE in Germany, with a domain registered 3 months before launch. The crawl picked up 7 technologies on this site, covering ui library, analytics, CSS frameworks, and DNS providers. The stack includes Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
